After Ralt managed to enrage a druid, Maxim soon found himself... herself disappearing into the jaws of a massive brown bear. Soon after the beast was felled, an eccentric old mage came blustering out of the Half-Way Inn wondering why his mule was dead.
Eventually, everyone settled down, and Xe came along with the party and joined in their defeat of Dusty Squid Mouth. With Damascus' horse returned, the party ventured back to the inn to meet with one of the Tuxedo-Wearing vampires from Holmgard named Milos.
And so, after a brief long distance call from Maltarin, they are on their way to meet with Walter Burnright, who will gain them admission into the Scarlet Nocturne Society to kill Mathaeus Hemrir.
